Additional Tips
1. If you're going on the Yatra, make sure to get your RFID Card from specific places in Jammu or Srinagar before you start.
2. Bring your Aadhaar card when you go to get your RFID Card.
3. Wear the RFID tag around your neck all the time during the Yatra for safety.
4. Keep a note in your pocket with the name, address, and phone number of someone else going on the same day in case of an emergency.
5. Also, bring an umbrella, windbreaker, raincoat, and waterproof shoes as the weather can change suddenly.

1. Don't take any shortcuts or any other routes apart from the regular route for the yatra. 2. High altitude illness symptoms should not be overlooked. 3. Don't consume alcohol & avoid caffeinated beverages, or smoking. 4. Heed warning notices and refrain from stopping at marked locations. 5. Don't wear slippers for trekking. Only wear trekking shoes for yatra. 6. The use of plastics is strictly prohibited in the state and is punishable by law.
