Day 1: Pathankot/Amritsar to Dalhousie

Today marks the beginning of your Dalhousie and Dharamshala Tour with Amritsar. Upon arrival at Pathankot railway station, meet our representative and you’ll be driven to Dalhousie which is just 90 km from Pathankot. On the way enjoy exploring the beauty of Jandrighat Palace, Subhash Bowli Rd, Bara Pathar & Panjphulla. Enjoy strolling from GPO to Subhash Chowk through Thandi Sarak, Dain Kund, and Bakrota Hills. Don’t forget to visit Satdhara & Old Churches of Dalhousie. Night stay is scheduled in Dalhousie.

Day 2: Chamba & Khajjiar Sightseeing

Post breakfast go on a tour of Chamba which is almost 55 km. Pay a visit to Chamera Lake, shop at Himachal Emporium or Rangmahal and bow down at Hariraya Temple. Afterwards, grab the offerings of Chamba market and visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple and Chaugan, the grassy ground which is a public walkway, also the heart of Chamba. Then go on a visit of Khajjiar – also popular as the Mini Switzerland of India, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake (Khajjiar Lake) in the center, and Panch Pandav Tree in one corner. Also seek blessings at famous Khajji Nag Temple. One can enjoy long walks around Khajjiar. Come back to Dalhousie for overnight stay.

Day 3: Dalhosuie to Dharamshala

Check out & proceed to Dharamshala which will take almost 4 hrs. to reach. Upon arrival check in to hotel and rest. After getting fresh, explore Mcleodganj famous for its Tibetan Monasteries (Namgyal Monastery, KaalChakra Temple, DIo Tse Chok Ling, etc.), Library of Tibetan Work, Dalai Lama temple, Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfalls, Dharamkot, and Naddi. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Dharamshala Local Sightseeing

Morning after breakfast, Dharamshala sightseeing tour begins. Take a drive down the roads of Dharamshala, where you can see trimmed tea gardens and the magnificent aroma of fresh tea. Afterwards resume your sightseeing by visiting Norbulinka Institute, Dharamshala War Memorial in Dharamshala, HPCA Cricket Ground Dharamshala, Kangra Art Museum, and Dal Lake. The day end in leisure with overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Dharamshala to Amritsar

After having breakfast, you’ll be driven to Amritsar which will take around 6 hrs. to reach. Start early so you can witness “Beating the Retreat Ceremony” at Wagah Border. The Wagah Border Ceremony is the prime attraction of Amritsar held every evening. This 30 minute marvelous display of military prowess and showmanship will definitely fill your heart with pride. Afterwards, come back to Amritsar for night stay.

Day 6: Amritsar Local Sightseeing & Drop

Have an early breakfast and check out from hotel to visit Golden Temple. Sri Harmandir Sahib also known as the Golden Temple, is named after Hari (God) the temple of God. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial to the massacre done by General Dyer in 13 April 1919. After having lunch, explore Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Summer Palace of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Afterwards you’ll be dropped at Amritsar railway station/airport as per your choice and timings.
