The best time to visit Ladakh is after April and before October. In the months between November – March, Ladakh is inaccessible due to heavy snowfall.
There are numerous famous spots in Ladakh namely, Leh city, Sham Valley, Nubra Valley, Hunder, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri, Puga Valley, Hanle, etc.
For a memorable couple tour you can plan a tour of Shimla, Manali, Kasol, Kullu, Dharamshala & Dalhousie.
It is advisable not to travel Leh & Ladakh with infant. Child should be at least 5 years old to visit Ladakh as young child might suffer AMS (acute mountain sickness) which is a result of high altitude and reduced oxygen level.
Leh airport is the nearest airport in Ladakh region. You can even reach Ladakh by road from Manali & Srinagar.
It will take at least 13 days to cover all prominent places of Ladakh region. However, complete ladakh tour can be extended up to 20 days.
