Kedarnath Dham Yatra from Delhi is a spiritual journey that takes you to one of the holiest shrines of Lord Shiva, located in the Uttarakhand state of India. The Kedarnath Dham Yatra 2024 is expected to be a significant event as it attracts a large number of pilgrims every year. The yatra usually takes around 6 days to complete, including travel time.

Kedarnath Dham is situated at an altitude of 3584 meters above sea level, making it one of the most challenging pilgrimage destinations in India. The journey to Kedarnath involves trekking for around 18 km from Gaurikund, the last motorable point, through the hilly terrain of the Garhwal Himalayas. However, the beauty of the surroundings and the spiritual aura of the place make the arduous trek worthwhile.

To make the Kedarnath Dham Yatra more accessible and convenient for the pilgrims, Explore My Bharat is offering Kedarnath Yatra packages 2024 from Delhi. These packages include transportation, accommodation, meals, and darshan tickets, making the journey hassle-free for the pilgrims.

This Kedarnath Yatra package starts from Delhi, where the pilgrims are picked up from their respective locations and transported to Haridwar, the starting points of the yatra. From there, they are taken to Gaurikund, the base camp, via a scenic drive along the river Ganges.

At Gaurikund, the pilgrims need to register themselves with the authorities and obtain a yatra permit. The trek to Kedarnath starts from here, and it takes around 9-10 hours to reach the temple. The route is well-marked and has several rest points and shops selling refreshments and essentials.

Upon reaching Kedarnath, the pilgrims can take a dip in the holy waters of the Mandakini river and perform puja and darshan at the temple. The temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era and has a significant place in Hindu mythology.

After completing the darshan, the pilgrims can spend some time exploring the surrounding areas and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Himalayas. They can also visit the nearby Bhairon Temple and Shankaracharya Samadhi.

The return journey from Kedarnath to Gaurikund is also on foot, and it takes around 5-6 hours. From Gaurikund, the pilgrims are transported back to Rishikesh and then to Delhi.
